Calabrian Liqueurs are made with flavoured Herbs or Fruit: oranges, lemons, tangerines, liquorice, wild fennel and prickly pears.
They have healing properties thanks to the essences they originate from: those made with fruit are rich in vitamins, they strengthen the immune system and fight flues; those based on herbs act on the digestive system, nervous system and cardio-circulatory system.
Herbs Liqueur "Amaro del Capo” made with active principles of: herbs, fruits, flowers, alcohol and roots brews. It is a genuine and natural product and it is made only in Limbaldi;
Nocino del Monte Poro: made with Calabrian nuts and spices, according to the traditional recipe; some old sayings describe the Walnut tree as being a plant where in the past Witches used to organize their rituals;
Prickly Pears Liqueur: a plant which grows spontaneously all over Centre-South of Italy, thanks to its delicate and scented taste, it goes very well with typical cakes;
Bergamot Liqueur: it is a traditional Calabrian liqueur, its Aroma makes it unique; its therapeutical properties date back to 1700;
Citron Liqueur: it comes from the Citrus fruit which grows only by the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast; Jews used citrus to celebrate religious holidays; it is also used for the preparation of cakes;
Anise Liqueur: it has oriental origins and it is present in Calabria as a wild plant. Anise is digestive, diuretic and sedative;
Citrus Liqueur: it is traditionally used during main festivals and offered to important guests;
Liquorice Liqueur: a spontaneous plant which is native to the Mediterranean area, Calabria is the top producing region:
